Starting the week on a positive note, masked Swedish psych-rock collective GOAT have shared news of their new studio album Headsoup. Laying down the gauntlet with its mighty lead track 'Queen of the Underground', hypnotic bass adds a heavy groove as funk-inspired wah work dominates the guitar lines. Glistening with tactile percussion, their geographically wide-ranging influences shine through as the outfit's signature shamanic vocals guide the way. Getting progressively heavier before culminating in a face-melting wig out, Goat simply say: “Who says a rock band can’t play funk?
